There are 2 options if you want to be a volunteer in Tanzania:

The best months to go would be February and June to October, as the rainy season is over then. However, Tanzania can be visited all year round as not all regions have that much rainfall.
We are working together with an organisation that organises educational programs through distance learning via radio and our voluntary work is in 2 main areas:
Education/Training
Our volunteers are helping with putting classroom sessions together in different subjects and let someone record it so it can be broadcast. The aim is to reach as many students (from 14 years old) as possible.
Liaising between Facilitators & Students
Our volunteers will also work on establishing a network of people who are specialized in different topics, which will be discussed in radio programs at a later stage. They will provide households with radios and look for sponsors.
At the moment students get together to listen to a MP, but the aim is that everyone will be able to listen at home in the future.
