Step 1: Inform yourself
If you have decided that you want to become an au pair in Europe you will receive information about the different countries, estimated costs, visa information…
Step 2: Application form
It is free of charge to send us your application form.
Step 3: Interview
You will be interviewed so that we can get to know you better and to see if being an au pair in Europe as part of your overseas experience is the right choice for you.
Step 4: Your personal file
After you have received all the information about being au pair in Europe in the country of your choice and decided that this is what you want to do, you have to complete your application form with other necessary documents such as e.g. references, dear host family letter etc. By sending us these documents, you are obligated to follow the terms and conditions of the program.
Step 5: Visa
After you have found a host family you will have to apply for your visa if that is required. Some European countries ask for a specific Au Pair visa while other countries require a work permit. Once you have decided to which country you want to go, we will give you detailed information about how to apply for the correct visa and which documents are needed.
Step 6: Welcome to Europe!
Depending on the country you decide to go to, there will be an information meeting with our partner agency upon arrival. They will explain to you how you have to apply for a work permit if that is required, tell you more about the country and what activities you can do in your spare time, which language schools there are, where you can find other au pairs, what activities are organized, what is expected of you as an au pair etc. Even if you have a local contact person, we always support our au pairs throughout the program as well.
Step 7: During your time as an au pair in Europe
You will get ongoing support from both our local partner and from us. There are many activities each month in which you can participate with other au pairs.
Step 8: Before your return home
Prior to departure, we will assist in helping you to reconfirm your return flight.
